Internet and TV Bundles in 2026: Prices, What’s Included and Which Ones Are Real

Local Cable Provider may earn compensation when you order through our links or by phone. How we are paid and how we choose what to show is explained on our compensation methodology page. Prices last checked October 26, 2026.

Spectrum, Xfinity, Optimum and Verizon Fios each sell internet and their own TV on one bill where they serve your address. AT&T and Frontier discount home internet when you add mobile, but TV is always separate. DirecTV and YouTube TV work with almost any internet provider. Which of these costs less depends on the promotional price, the channels you need and what the bill looks like after the promotion ends.

Key takeaways

  • Spectrum, Xfinity, Optimum and Verizon Fios sell internet and their own TV on one bill where available. AT&T and Frontier only discount internet when you add mobile.
  • Streaming is not automatically cheaper. The worked example below shows how to test it with your own quotes.
  • Three ownership changes since 2025 (AT&T and DirecTV, Verizon and Frontier, Charter and Cox) make many older bundle pages out of date.

Quick answer: which combinations are real bundles?

Combination Type (explained below) One bill?
Spectrum Internet + TV 1. Single-company bundle Yes
Xfinity Internet + TV 1. Single-company bundle Yes
Optimum Internet + TV 1. Single-company bundle Yes
Verizon Fios Internet + Fios TV 1. Single-company bundle, where Fios is sold Yes
Spectrum, Optimum or AT&T internet + mobile 2. Mobile discount Varies; confirm with the provider
Frontier Fiber + Verizon Mobile 2. Mobile discount, TV not included No TV
Frontier Fiber + YouTube TV 3. Pairing with a partner discount Frontier’s page says combined billing
AT&T + DirecTV 3. Pairing, no longer a bundle No
DirecTV or YouTube TV + any internet 3. Pairing No

Three kinds of “bundle” (and why the difference matters)

Comparison pages use the word loosely. In practice there are three different things:

  1. A single-company bundle. One provider sells the internet and its own TV and bills them together. Examples: Spectrum, Xfinity, Optimum, Verizon Fios.
  2. A discount for combining with mobile. The provider takes money off internet when you add its phone service, but TV is a separate purchase. Examples: AT&T and Frontier (Verizon).
  3. A pairing. Two companies, two bills, no shared discount, unless the internet provider runs a promotion with a streaming service, such as Frontier and YouTube TV. Examples: DirecTV, YouTube TV, Fubo and Hulu + Live TV with any internet.

Only the first kind gives you one bill and one support line for TV and internet. The other two can still be cheaper, but you are comparing separate purchases.

Provider by provider: what you actually get

Spectrum

Spectrum launched Spectrum One on June 25, 2026, a package of internet, Advanced WiFi and one free Unlimited mobile line for the first year. Extra lines start at $30 a month. Charter’s release lists first-year online prices of $30 a month for 100 Mbps (plus $10 for Advanced WiFi), $40 for 500 Mbps (plus $10) and $60 for 1 Gig with Advanced WiFi included. Charter renamed its internet plans on September 16, 2026, so the older names Advantage, Premier and Gig have been replaced by Internet 100, 500 and 1 Gig. Prices vary by address, so check Spectrum’s site for your current plan names and prices.

On TV, comparison sites that mirror Spectrum’s offers list Internet 500 + WiFi + TV Lite (85+ channels) at $70 a month for two years, Internet 1 Gig + TV Lite at $80, and Internet 500 + WiFi + Stream TV Signature (150+ channels) at $130 (Reviews.org, CableTV.com). Stream TV Signature includes ad-supported streaming apps such as Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max and Peacock (BroadbandNow). Since February 24, 2026, Spectrum has guaranteed $1,000 in first-year savings to customers who move at least two lines from AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon. For plan details, see our Spectrum Internet and TV bundles guide.

Cox customers: Charter closed its purchase of Cox on August 20, 2026. Spectrum’s pricing and packages were due in former Cox markets by mid-September, and third-party reports say they went live on September 16, 2026. Cox internet customers without Cox Mobile were offered one free year of mobile service. If you were a Cox customer, check your current bill, because the plan names are changing.

Xfinity

Xfinity’s 2026 TV plans include the box, DVR and the broadcast and regional sports fees, and carry no contract, according to BestGuide’s review. Comcast says adding internet takes $10 a month off a TV package. NOW TV is a streaming service at $20 a month with 270+ channels and Peacock Premium with ads, and it requires Xfinity internet. Allconnect lists Internet + TV Core at $110, TV Plus at $150 and TV Premium at $195 as starting bundle prices. Xfinity StreamSaver (Netflix, Peacock and Apple TV) launched at $15 a month in 2024, so check the current price on Xfinity’s site.

Optimum

Optimum is a regional provider, so confirm it serves your ZIP. HighSpeedInternet.com and Allconnect list these bundle starting prices:

Internet + Entertainment TV + Extra TV + Everything TV
300 Mbps $65/mo $130/mo $185/mo
500 Mbps $75/mo $140/mo $195/mo
1 Gig $85/mo $150/mo $205/mo

Entertainment TV is streaming only through Optimum Stream and requires Optimum internet, per Reviews.org. Optimum advertises a multi-year price lock on internet (Optimum’s own pages state both three and five years) and says new plans carry no cancellation or internet equipment fees. Optimum’s own article says bundling takes $5 off internet with TV, $10 with mobile and $15 with both. Mobile bundles are separate: Allconnect lists internet plus one mobile line at $60 (300 Mbps), $70 (500 Mbps) and $80 (1 Gig).

Optimum’s own site lists $30 off when you bundle 300+ Mbps internet with Unlimited Mobile and Entertainment TV, and up to a $200 prepaid card on larger bundles. Partner pages show both a 1-year and a 5-year price lock on bundles that include TV, so confirm which applies to your quote. Our Optimum Internet and TV bundles guide covers the details.

Verizon Fios and Frontier

Verizon Fios sells TV on its own fiber network. Reviews.org lists Fios 300 Mbps + Your Fios TV (125+ channels) at $134.99 a month, while other sites show higher promotional prices, so treat the figure as approximate and confirm it on Verizon’s site. Verizon closed its Frontier purchase on January 20, 2026. Frontier’s sales-agent page says Frontier plans stay the same for now, Frontier and Verizon bills remain separate, and Frontier Fiber plans get $15 a month off with a Verizon phone plan. Frontier says it does not run a TV service. Its TV option is YouTube TV, with $10 a month off for 12 months for first-time YouTube TV customers, described as combined billing. See our Frontier availability guide for current plans.

AT&T

AT&T sells internet and mobile, not TV. Its bundles page currently advertises savings of up to $420 a year for new customers, based on combined discounts of $35 a month on the 5 Gig plan with eligible wireless service and AutoPay with paperless billing, plus three months of YouTube TV and a $100 reward card. The page does not state a flat percentage. Third-party sites describe the discount as $20 a month or 20%, so quote the figure for the specific plan. The page also does not say whether internet and wireless share one bill, so confirm that before you order. See our AT&T Fiber availability guide.

Why AT&T and DirecTV are no longer a bundle. AT&T bought DirecTV in 2015. In 2021 it sold a 30% stake to TPG and kept 70%. It sold that remaining 70% to TPG in a deal that closed on July 2, 2025. DirecTV is now an independent company, which is why AT&T no longer offers it as part of a bundle.

DirecTV and streaming TV

DirecTV is sold on its own and works with any internet provider. CenturyLink’s site sells internet with TV from DISH or DIRECTV, but says ordering partner TV through CenturyLink carries no price reduction and that TV support comes from the TV provider. YouTube TV’s Base Plan is $82.99 a month, a price in effect since December 12, 2024, and Frontier’s page quotes the same figure. Genre plans launched in 2026; CableTV.com lists them from $54.99 (Entertainment) to $71.99 (Sports & News). Disney+ and Hulu raised prices on September 23, 2026, so check the current price of any app you stack. Our guides to DirecTV packages and the DirecTV channel lineup cover the TV side.

Bundle or stream? A worked cost example

The test is simple: a bundle wins while its price is lower than your internet-only price plus the streaming services you would actually pay for. Here is one example using prices listed in October 2026, promotional rates, before taxes and fees.

Setup Monthly price How it is built
Spectrum Internet 500 + WiFi + TV Lite (85+ channels) $70 One bundle price, listed as a 2-year price
Optimum 500 Mbps + Entertainment TV $75 One bundle price, listed by HighSpeedInternet.com and Optimum partner pages
Spectrum Internet 500 + Advanced WiFi alone + YouTube TV $132.99 $40 internet + $10 Advanced WiFi (Charter’s first-year prices) + $82.99 YouTube TV Base Plan

The bundles cost $57.99 to $62.99 less each month than the internet-plus-streaming stack, or roughly $695 to $755 over a year. Read that result with four cautions:

  1. The TV tiers are not equal. YouTube TV carries 100+ channels with unlimited DVR. The entry bundles carry about 70 to 85+ channels.
  2. The two prices have different lengths. The internet-only price is a first-year price and the bundle is listed for 24 months. Check the year-two price of each before you decide.
  3. Taxes, equipment and TV surcharges are not included. Ask for the out-the-door monthly price.
  4. Streaming prices move. Disney+ and Hulu raised prices on September 23, 2026.

If you do not watch live TV, neither side of this example applies. Internet alone plus the on-demand apps you already use is usually the cheapest setup.

Which setup fits you?

  • Local news and a few cable networks: an entry bundle, such as Spectrum TV Lite, Optimum Entertainment TV or Xfinity NOW TV.
  • Live sports including regional networks: Optimum Everything TV lists regional sports content, and Xfinity’s 2026 plans include the regional sports fee in the price. Check which package carries your team’s network before you order.
  • You already use Verizon mobile and Fios or Frontier Fiber is sold at your address: take the $15 a month discount and stream TV.
  • You already use AT&T Wireless and AT&T Fiber is sold at your address: take the fiber discount and pick TV separately.
  • You want DirecTV specifically: choose the internet provider on its own price and speed, because DirecTV will not change the internet bill.
  • You do not watch live TV: buy internet only.

Seven things to check before you sign

  1. What does the monthly price become when the promotion ends, and when does that happen?
  2. Is the price guaranteed, for how long, and for which services? Optimum’s multi-year lock covers internet; Spectrum lists 24-month prices on specific bundles.
  3. Which charges are extra: broadcast TV or regional sports fees, equipment, DVR, installation?
  4. Is there a contract or an early-termination fee?
  5. How many TVs does the price cover, and does each need a box or an app?
  6. Does the TV tier carry your local channels and the sports networks you watch?
  7. Is the offer for new customers only, and does the mobile discount need a new line or a number transfer?

Questions customers ask before they order

These answers draw on provider terms, competitor FAQs and customer forum threads. The recurring worry in those threads is a bill that jumps when a promotion ends.

What happens to my bill when the promotion ends?
The price moves to the provider’s standard rate. Optimum, for example, says its internet price rises by up to $15 a year once the lock ends, and Spectrum’s own release says standard rates apply after the first year. Put a reminder in your calendar a month before the date and compare your renewal price with streaming.

Are TV fees and equipment included in the price?
It depends on the provider. Xfinity’s 2026 TV plans include the box, DVR and broadcast and sports fees. One review lists a $9.99 broadcast fee and a $10.47 regional sports fee for Optimum TV subscribers. YouTube TV says its price has no extra broadcast, box or DVR fees. Ask for the out-the-door monthly price.

Is there a contract or a cancellation fee?
Mostly no. Xfinity’s NOW TV has no annual contract, Charter says Spectrum internet has no contracts, and YouTube TV is month to month. The exception to watch is a reward card: Frontier’s page says choosing the optional Visa reward card adds a prorated early-termination fee for 12 months.

How many TVs can I watch on, and do I need boxes?
NOW TV works on up to three devices at once, needs no TV box, and includes one Xumo Stream Box at no extra cost. YouTube TV allows three streams and six accounts. Check the stream limit against the number of TVs in your home.

Do I have to switch my phone to get the discount?
Usually yes, and the rules differ. AT&T’s discount needs an eligible wireless plan. Frontier’s $15 discount needs a postpaid Verizon phone plan. Optimum’s extra $20 internet credit requires mobile signup within 30 days of the internet order. Spectrum One includes one free mobile line for the first year.

I’m already a customer. Can I get the new-customer price?
Often not. Spectrum’s offer terms, as quoted by one comparison site, cover new residential customers with no Spectrum service in the past 30 days, and Frontier’s YouTube TV discount is for first-time YouTube TV customers. Charter’s release says existing Spectrum customers can still add Advanced WiFi or upgrade to Gig and get a free mobile line. Existing Cox and Frontier customers were not forced onto new plans when the mergers closed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still bundle AT&T internet with DirecTV?

No. AT&T no longer owns DirecTV, so the two are separate companies with separate accounts and bills.

Is it cheaper to bundle internet and TV or to stream?

It depends on the TV tier and on what each price becomes after the promotion. The worked example in this guide shows how to test it with your own quotes.

Do I need internet and TV from the same company?

Not for DirecTV, YouTube TV or most streaming services, which work with any internet provider. Some provider TV products, such as Xfinity NOW TV and Optimum Entertainment TV, require that provider’s internet.

How do I know a bundle is sold at my address?

Use the availability checker on each provider’s website with your full street address. Providers and promotions differ from one street to the next.

How we verify this page

Prices come from provider pages where we could open them and from the comparison sites linked above, and each figure is dated October 26, 2026. Where a number comes from a comparison site rather than the provider, we say so. We re-check prices every month and update this page when a merger, price rise or new plan changes the picture.

Updated October 26, 2026: rewritten with 2026 prices; corrected the AT&T and DirecTV history; added the Cox and Frontier changes.
